Still waving

Welcome.

Years ago, when I moved to Kyoto, I started a blog called The Sound of One Hand Waving.

Much has been learned since then and much mochi has been eaten. One hand is still waving but the other hand is holding a lantern because when light falls your way, it’s only natural to want to pass it on. And so, this site, Kyoto Lantern, has come into being.

From my hand to yours, as much light as you need.
